It's pretty rare people see the positive sides of autism but parents with children that happen to be on the spectrum, know there is much to be thankful for!
Here's a list of qualities that I see in ASD everyday:
- loyalty
- honest
- frank
- upfront
- always hopeful
- sense of humour
- creative
- joyful
- determined
- a specialist in an interested field (few people really are!)
- attention to detail
- story teller
- realistic
- insightful
- intelligent
- honourable
Everyone has weaknesses, with or without a diagnosis. I prefer to see the strengths as something extraordinary~extra-ordinary.
